As far as I know, every serious blog has to have one post blogging about blogging. Welcome to mine!

I have  confession to make right off the bat. This is not my first blog. It is not my second, or third blog. It is somewhere after that. I am a person who has started a few interesting things, and started immediately ignoring it after 2 or 3 posts. They were boring anyway. And not on my OWN DOMAIN. Oh yeah, feeling all 1996 right now.

My wife and I found out we (as in she) are pregnant, which is very exciting. So as mandated by internet law, a parent blog was immediately created. I have already had a few posts, and it looks like this one may stick. At least for the next 7 or 8 months. I hope longer.

I enjoyed the act of writing so much I am making another attempt at a decent tech blog. I love technology. I love looking at it, touching it, playing with it at Best Buy/Fry’s, and buying it. I also love great hardware design, and great software design. I take equal joy in mocking bad hardware/software design.

I love most Apple products (but who doesn’t these days), appreciate Sony’s hardware design (it really is amazing), I believe I get where Microsoft is coming from, even if it does confuse me. I actually like what they are doing too. Many companies do great things. I love that. Those same companies also do silly things (usually in the name of marketing) that make me drink. I hope to balance the love with the silliness, and not get too drunk in the process.
